Release date: Friday October 13th, 2023 (digital) Friday October 20 th, 2023 (CD)*Vinyl TBC 2024

1. Never Gonna Let You Down
A song about friendship & looking after each other a good rule for life!
A great song following the true SoftWave blueprint of top quality Synthpop.
2. Taking Life For Granted
Another new composition, about someone who doesn’t take life seriously, thinking of themselves rather than everyone else. Pulsing synths driving this track along nicely.
3.Supernova
This is a song inspired by Andy and what happens when you get me meet your idols.
Catrine sings her heart out in this excellent single about her love for her ‘Shining Star’ that she adores from a far,and the struggle to reach the point of her stardom by taking pointers from her favourite performer, and from the strength of this track she seems to be taking on all the right attributes to become her very own shining star.
The music backing is also superb Jerry has done a great job,I will put this track at the top of my favourite SoftWave tracks so far.
4. I'II Be Your Safe
A slower track this one, plenty of synths bleeps & washes,a real synth power ballad!
A song about guiding your friend/lover through life looking after them, being that shoulder to cry on,the dependable guide who always has your back.
5.Wake Up
The perfect WakeUp-song to those who struggles getting out of bed at early mornings-SoftWave
It’s does exactly what it says on the tin!,from the opening synth riffs and into the driving beat just the right amount of a kick start you get from a good Espresso (other high caffeine drinks are available). Quite a few big Vince Clarke-Esque synth bleeps from Gerry, the
6.Thank You For Breaking My Heart
The oldest track from the album released very early into 2022,complete with a full official video, typical SoftWave that we know & love. A love song about heartbreak which leads to a whole new world of possibilities.
A singalong chorus which complements the subtle synth backing.
7. Through Open Eyes
This is a very thought provoking song sung through a bright refreshing backing track, speaking to us about the new world we live in via social media, through a world of fakery and rose tinted ideals, which is a whole world away from reality.
8.Don’t Bully Me Again
One of my favourite of the new tracks, but saying that it’s a very tough choice as all are superb.
Being bullied is something that shouldn’t happen, but it’s something we can’t control,if you’ve been a victim you’ll understand, which is why this track seems to pack such a punch. Gerry has made a perfect backdrop for Catrine’s beautiful vocal delivery, such a great Synthpop song which could very well become a classic, great sounds great lyrics ….. just great!
9. The Deepest Love
Another great driving beat,a rolling bassline singing about love, & longing for the love to bring back happiness to a life that’s suffering sadness.
10.This World
The closing track, and what a way to go out. A lyric from Catrine about the world we are living in at this point in time.
References to the Pandemic and all the problems that come with it,and a positive message to help us get out of this low point in the Worlds history.
“People let’s work together and see the light at the end of the tunnel”
This track I could see as a closing track on any Erasure album especially reminiscent of ‘Dark Angel’ from Light At The End Of The World it has that dark yet uplifting sound.
This is an album of really strong tracks, all killer no filler.
