Which is particularly strange as Vince said they had about 16 tracks lined up for the album and cut their choices down to 10.

My guess is, the band decided on the tracks they wanted before they recorded the lyrics and mastered, so the other tracks are totally unfinished.
Let’s hope some of these make the ‘expanded’ single CDs.
Looks like a lot of remixes of the releases, as a box set. What a disappointment!

Mind you, Vince did hint earlier in the summer that they didn't record the unfinished tracks (yet), so I guess we had to be prepared for that. I'm sure I heard him say they picked the top 10 tracks for the album earlier in the year, focussed on mixing those and got them fully completed....just before lockdown.

It's also a shame the single version of Fallen Angel isn't on the CD. Seems an odd choice. My OCD is not impressed!

So if you want the single edit you now have to buy the digital version.

I am really disappointed with the box set, just loads of rather rubbish mixes (my personal opinion) no b sides and what happened to the Gareth Jones mix?
The Neon album was great, the single releases were disappointing.I think I will give this one a miss, not buying anymore just for the sake of it.

I feel the same way, the single box could have been so great. But only Remixes :(
Remixe doesn´t make the original better.

I'm also bummed that the single version of Fallen Angel wasn't included on CD, but not to worry.... Eventually we will get yet another singles collection that should include it. I agree it should have made it to The Neon Remixes boxset though.

Also, regarding the content of the discs.... From the beginning, there was no secret that there would be a boxset of singles remixes. I don't fault anyone for not wanting to buy it, but we can't really say it's a surprise. Would it really have killed them to include just 1 b-side though???
