Classic Pop Top Ten Synthpop singles countdown for International Synth Day

[Pughie]

How can you have a top ten of synth pop and not have a single Vince track?

Mind boggling.

Lot of head scratching imo,at least only you if it wasn't going to be an erasure track and no fade to grey in a synth top 10 sigh!

Mind boggling.

I’ve just been informed it’s the same top ten as seen in the Synthpop Pioneers magazine they brought out last year!
What a letdown.

The only saving grace is that Erasure had their own cover.

Well after that fiasco let’s celebrate International Synth Day with the real King of Synthpop.
I give you Mr Vincent Clarke.

@Pughie (or anyone who knows), can you let me know what Nos. 9 & 10 are on this Top 10 list? The picture only shows 1 though 8 and all the Facebook links from earlier are dead. (Somehow I missed this thread earlier.)

My cousin and I have been debating this very thing: the Top 10 Greatest Synthpop Songs. It’s been a great discussion and I think it would be great to get a forum vote. I’ve been thinking of creating a thread on it, hopefully this weekend.
