Years & Years cover It’s A Sin,to co-incide with the new Channel 4 series of the same name. Years & Years frontman Olly Alexander plays the main character role of ‘Richie Tozer’.



It’s a 5 episode series charting the lives of a group of friends during the start of the AIDs epidemic,it’s a brilliant piece of work from Russel T Davies,episode 3 includes Oh L’Amour (although the version they use is the 2003 August mix)



This is a fantastic drama,you actually care about the characters it’s very thought provoking and tearful.

Mentioned in the PSB thread, but “It’s a Sin” is coming to the U.S. on February 18 on HBO Max! Can’t wait!!

The character of Jill is based on actress Jill Nalder. She plays Jill's mother in the series.

Olly’s character Richie Tozer is based on real life actor Dursley McLindon who came from the Isle of White and had parts in TV shows like Doctor Who (Hence the Dalek scene)he appeared in the Sylvester McCoy episode Remembrance of the Dalek’s and Mr Bean as seen below.
Writer Russel T Davies met Dursley at a party he went to with his friend Jill.
