Erasure4Rum

Back in the day did you ever make mixtapes to showcase Erasure’s music for friends who still needed convincing about the band? Mixtapes designed to showcase the songs you considered the very best Erasure moments from the band’s catalogue? The biggest singles, the best album tracks, your favourite obscure b-sides, the most brilliant remixes? Well that’s exactly what this competition is all about... we want you to create a modern mixtape on Spotify which will showcase the songs you consider to be the very best tracks across Erasure’s entire catalogue, each one chosen to convince someone who’s not already a fan of the band that they should definitely start checking them out!

The overall winner of the competition will receive a very special Golden Ticket which they can trade for two tickets to a show of their choice on the next Erasure tour; a signed album bundle of the forthcoming new Erasure album; plus your playlist will be shared across the official Erasure social channels. In addition, we will send a special mystery Erasure prize to each of the next three runners-up. You'll find all the details you need on the Erasure website here. Have fun. [/b]

At the risk of being called cynical... while this is a fun, new idea, the business side of me immediately saw this as a “back door” way of getting an older fan base (loyal to physical product) to get on Spotify shortly before a new album release. Hey, if it works, great!!

Here’s the Erasure Starter Kit Playlist from Erasure4rum.

I’ve chosen 6 from the earlier albums,6 from the later albums a couple of b-sides and ended with the best Erasure song ever I it’s extended glory!

Good luck to anyone who enters, post your list below.
