I missed this tour, but watched this earlier in the week. Quite the production! I wonder why Erasure tend to do lower budget concerts relative to PSB. I think I read somewhere that PSB have sold twice as many records as Erasure. 50 million vs. 25 million. I miss the days when Erasure would put on a full on show. Surely a costume change here and there wouldn't add that much to the budget.

I know I should be glad they are still touring and I am. Many amazing memories.

You really think so? I prefer Erasure music over PSB music any day, but there is so much more planning and thought that goes into a PSB show. With costume changes, dancers, visuals, lighting, musicians (at least this time around) along with interesting use of props (e.g. the round globes that Neil and Chris emerge out, odd head gear, etc.). SUPER was a visually stunning show. Andy outperforms Neil any day, but bang or buck PSB offers more to their fans. I say this without knowing the actual ticket prices though.

What was interesting in the last interview around the holidays is that Vince said the initial design for the set was much more elaborate and they scaled it back. I guess I just long for a tour staging that is deserving of their music.
