A follow up to Songs Of Silence

Clarke is at work on a long-gestating project, a follow up to 2023’s Songs Of Silence. “It’s instrumental but not as grim [as Songs Of Silence], but it is quite sad – it’s just some pieces I’m working on. Whether it ever gets released or not, I don’t know. My cat doesn’t like it.”

Interesting. But not a single reference to Erasure plans or new material (which is, let's face it, the reason this forum exists!). So odd. It's nearly May. Half way through the year soon. Total speculation, but I wonder if they boys have struggled a little to get the right format for a new album.

I must admit it’s very frustrating the lack of Erasure news,I know Richard will come out with the comment I’ll let you know as soon as I’m able etc etc which is perfectly fine, but maybe just a photo would be great just seeing them both together or just a selfie every now and then would be great rather than a blanket of nothing!
I know we have the Doublespeak project to tide us over, but what about reissues etc Loveboat is next on the list that seems to be in dry dock at the moment ( a nautical pun there!)
Bu until any ‘new’ news appears we are all here poised at the keyboard to comment & discuss.

I can remember, back in the day, when Vince announced he'd written some new songs but Andy hadn't heard them yet. I wonder how far they've got with that.
