VINCE CLARKE: VINCE CLARKE WILL PERFORM 'SONGS OF SILENCE' LIVE AT NATIONAL SAWDUST, BROOKLYN, NYC ON SATURDAY 4TH MAY 2024

Vince has decided to revive his plan to follow November's 'Songs of Silence' concert in London with a show in New York City, and I am delighted to announce that show will take place at National Sawdust in Brooklyn on Saturday 4th May. Vince will once again be performing alongside Reed Hays and it will be an early show, with doors opening at 6pm and the evening finishing at 9pm. Vince and Reed will be performing 'Songs of Silence' in its entirety alongside some extra tracks from the same project.

Tickets will go onsale online this Sunday (24th March) at midday (NYC). To give newsletter subscribers the best possible chance of getting hold of tickets we won't be announcing these details on Erasure's social media, or anywhere else, until Monday to give you a window to get tickets first. It's a much smaller show than the one in London, the venue looks amazing, and it should be a very special and memorable evening indeed.

Tickets are exclusively general admission standing and will cost $35 each (plus service and booking fees of $4.19). The tickets will be available to buy (up to four tickets per transaction) exclusively from the dedicated Eventbrite page which will appear online here (the page may not display properly until the sale starts on Sunday!) and won't be available from the venue itself or from anywhere else. There's more information about the show - including details of wheelchair access, venue information and the schedule for the evening - on the ticketing page. I hope that covers everything but let me know if you have any questions, and good luck for when tickets go onsale on Sunday! :-)

No chance of getting to go to this but it's great to see Vince gigging again. Hope it helps with the healing process.

How was it MikeyC?

Good to see Andy and Vince together. No idea if they'll have done any writing together on this trip, but moving forward.

It was a beautiful night and experience! Look, we know Vince created this music during the pandemic and when his wife was ill, so we knew it wouldn’t be all joy and dancing arms in the air. But to watch Vince recreate the album with an assist from Reed (and an opera singer) was a joy in itself— a hearty, sometimes dark and intense show. A meaty, raw event.
And yes it was cool that Andy attended! And I had a lovely discussion with Richard EIS!
Definitely a special, memorable evening!

This is exactly my thoughts, seeing it ‘live’ makes the album take on a completely different feel.
