Just found out that a one off single by the 80’s band Morgan McVey called ‘Looking Good Diving’ turned I to one of the greatest singles of the 80’s.
Produced by Stock Aitken Waterman & iced by Phil Harding.

Take a listen, you should get the answer from just listening.

If you still don’t get it,take a listen to the b-side called ‘Looking Good Diving Hanging With The Wild Bunch’

Which then was reworked by Bomb The Base’s Tim Simenon to create Neneh Cherry’s debut hit ‘Buffalo Stance’.
She also appears with her husband Cameron McVey in the original video.

Hadn't heard of this single. Were you listening because they are the co-writers of Vince and Paul Quinn's "One Day"?

I didn’t know that fact!
No I was listening as I saw an article in Classic Pop and it mentioned it was the track that turned into Buffalo Stance.

Hehe, wow you stumped Pughie with a bit of trivia! I’m impressed!

I was also unaware One Day was co-written, figuring it was another early Vince track. Is One Day (Audition Version) on Buried Treasure II credited to all 3? I’ll have to check now when I get home!
