I saw the track listing and just about fell out of my chair.
There is a song named Don’t Say You Love Me!! That can’t be a coincidence!

It continues the long-standing tradition of DM and Erasure occasionally sharing the same or similar song titles!
A tradition which began with 'Sometimes'! Which, as you may already know, in that instance it was confirmed that it
wasn't a coincidence! Erasure came up with the chorus after hearing DM's song.
"Don't Say You Love Me" is ALSO already a lyric from DM's 'It's No Good' (so predates the Erasure track!). When the track listing was leaked early, some fans posting on social media thought it was a fake list possibly created by an AI, because a lot of the song names are themselves reminiscent of earlier DM titles or lyrics from earlier releases.

I hadn’t even considered It’s No Good’s lyrics but of course!
I only glanced over the track names but I got that feeling too, that many of them seem familiar somehow. Maybe that was Martin’s way to tip his hat to earlier influences and songs.

The Vince Clarke-era synthy sound would be divine. Let’s hope the reviewer isn’t being hyperbolic. I would love to hear some lighter sounding DM, rather than the typical darkness of later albums.

It's ok. Quite dark. A couple of decent tracks, but it's hardly a Violator.
There was one track which sounded like Vince and Martin had collaborated! But only one. The rest are as dark as ever.

I enjoyed the record right away. There are really nice songs and great melodies, which I feel they used to shy away in the past. Dave and Martin's voices sound fantastic. There are a few moments that reminded of Vince, and also Kraftwerk. Overall, really nice record, I am excited to see them live for the very first time this year.
