Robert Allen (Marlow) passed away yesterday, Thursday 22nd September, after a short and unexpected illness. His family have asked me to share this here as Rob had so many friends and they have no way to make contact with everyone personally. Please would you let other people know what has happened. Details of the arrangements to follow.

Pughie- as seen in the photos I had the pleasure of meeting Robert many times, and saw him perform live multiple times,he was such a nice guy it’s very sad to hear this news.

From Roberts FaceBook page-

So sad news.

I had this signed at a gig at the Camden Underworld in 2002.

RIP Robert! You will be missed!

I am so sorry to create further upset for those of you waiting for the funeral arrangements for Robert but in accordance with his wishes, there will be no funeral service for him. However, knowing Rob, as we all did, we can be sure he would be humbled and delighted at the outpouring of love for him since his passing and that people would want to gather together and celebrate his life. His partner will hold a small and private memorial gathering for family and close friends at home and would love his friends to go ahead with arrangements to honour and celebrate his life, should they wish to. I ask again if you could share this and if you are considering organising something for Rob to share the details so the word gets out amongst circles of friends. Thank you so much

Now the Robert Marlow section is fully updated I hope you are all now fully aware of who Robert was.
