SOMETHING FOR THE WEEKEND: ERASURE'S 'LOVE TO HATE YOU' HAS BEEN USED IN A STRANGE NEW MOVIE
A couple of people have been in touch to tell me about this one, but Erasure's 'Love To Hate You' features in a recent(ish) movie called 'Sasquatch Sunset'. The idea of the movie is that it follows a family of Northern Californian Sasquatch (you might know them as Bigfoot) over the course of a year. As part of the film, humans intrude upon their habitat, bringing with them all sorts of objects that are unfamiliar to Sasquatch, including a boombox which contains a tape of 'Love To Hate You'... it's all extremely strange (and, actually, I haven't even told you about the strangest parts!). Anyway, the 'Love To Hate You' scene from 'Sasquatch Sunset' is available to watch below, if you fancy a quick excursion into the bizarre. Don't say I didn't warn you...
