It's even beyond "beautiful" -- it's gorgeous and spine-tingling!!

This is a little surprising (for me). I too, love that track, and consider it one of the stronger ones over the last few albums, but I really expected more support for some of the aforementioned classic tracks. It's encouraging though! Definitely shows our boys can still touch our souls.

Wow, love all the responses! It warms my heart. There were a few surprise answers, and I lot I would choose myself - particularly She Won't Be Home. But the first one that came up in my mind when I started thinking about others is Tragic (the original instrumental b-side). Grace would be up there too. Man those are special. Also Tenderest Moments and Love is Colder Than Death (which blew me away the first time I heard it). I've always felt Memphisto, Blue Dress and One Caress by DM were beautiful as well. Other worthy mentions: OMD's Maid of Orleans, PSB's Jealousy, Anything Box's Hope and Blue Little Rose. Queen's Love of My Life. Louis Armstrong's What a Wonderful World. OK I should stop!

Don't mean to derail my own thread, though I'd be curious to hear everyone's favorite "beautiful" songs from other bands. Perhaps I'll start a secondary thread for that.

Back to E, it's true that they continue to write some beautiful material. World Be Gone is evidence of that and I have to second World Be Gone (Giant Mix) ... great choice billyburg!! Dreamy. I love the original too of course. Here's hoping for another beautiful album from our favorite duo soon.
